Ok so the description for this lamp is that it’s suppose to be a floor lamp which is far from that! Lol A little disappointed when I received it but then again measurements and not paying attention to product description was my fault. But I remained optimistic since it’s paid and delivered. After playing with the shade and following the simple directions to assemble realized I needed a bulb. The first trip to the store was unsuccessful since this shade requires a bulb with a skinny screw in. So the second attempt I took the shade with me to the store and found the one I needed (in the pic) which are those small lights you use in hanging chandeliers or similar. I got the brightest bulb in that size and to my surprise whn I used it kid’s room it had a decent brightness that worked well for my intended purpose. The bulb I purchased is dimmable so after turning on then off to get the desired dim, the push button comes in handy. Overall I’m satisfied with my purchase, but bc this isnt a floor lamp and the price being $25 for a paper shade I gave it 4 stars and prob won’t buy another
